The China-Laos Railway started cross-border passenger services on Thursday, a move that is expected to boost regional people-to-people connectivity.

The Cabinet on Tuesday approved a new agreement on cross-border logistics and transportation which aims to boost trade and investment between Thailand and China, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam, said Kobsak Pootrakool, vice minister of the PM’s Office.
